About Me:
I am a Costume Designer and Technician who loves a creative and challenging project. I have designed shows set in various settings such as the imaginary and colorful world of Dungeons and Dragons, in which I had the unique opportunity to dress three fierce warrior women, as well as the many fearsome monsters in She Kills Monsters.
I have also designed the emotionally war torn family of historical post WWII New York in 1946 portrayed in the beautiful play A Shayna Maidel. I have worked on shows such as Disenchanted, Legally Blond and Always...Patsy Cline working as a Technician and Dresser.
I am comfortable draping and pattern making, but often enjoy more craft-based projects that exercise my varied skills. My training includes puppetry, millinery as well the art of surface design, all of which I strive to incorporate into my work. I thoroughly enjoy learning new skills; no challenge is too big and anything I don’t know I am willing to learn.
I chose to dedicate my life to the art of theater because I love to be a part of the birth of a new world and I relish in the process of intertwining the imagination of the designers and actors. It is a joy to see the final product and the collective use of imagination that brings it to life.
